Indoor House Plants For Added Life To Your Home

    indoor house plants

Indoor house plants for added life to your home It seems so unfair, but some people seem to have the ability to fill their houses with a wide variety of flourishing indoor house plants whilst others either kill them with kindness or leave them a little too much to their own devices, either way turning a colourful thriving plant into a pile of dropped leaves and bare twigs. One thing which all will agree on though, is that there is nothing quite like strategically placed indoor flowering plants to really bring a room to life, maybe brightening up a dull corner or a bold window sill display to be enjoyed from both indoors and out. So why do some people find it virtually impossible to keep their indoor house plants healthy. Is there some secret society which only green fingered people are allowed to join? Is it really important to know your Hibiscus from your African Violet? Questions, questions. Surely it’s can’t be that difficult. Firstly, it’s important to think about where you want the indoor house plant to be placed and buy a plant which is actually suitable for that location. You should be able to ask advice at any garden centre or check out the website, there are always plenty of experts who are willing to share the benefit of their experience and give some friendly, helpful advice. There are many outdoor plants which will only do well in the right conditions, and it is exactly the same for indoor flowering plants. In fact, most plants will be quite happy as long as they have sufficient light, sufficient water (not too much, that’s one of the biggest problems actually, the never ending cycle of drought followed by flood) and are kept free from drafts. There are a great variety of indoor tropical house plants which are just as happy indoors as they are out. Some people simply bring in plants from the patio when they are in bloom so that they can enjoy the beauty and fragrance of the plant to the absolute maximum. No, it’s not cheating; it’s called making the most of your assets. Whether you consider yourself to be good with plants or not, there is certainly no easier way to brighten up a dull room than to fill it with a variety of healthy indoor house plants. The lovely greens of the foliage and the bright colours of the flowers can quickly give a room a whole new lease of life.
