Remember that older outdoor furniture will need another layer of sealant or varnish to protect it in the rainy winter months. If you can keep it under a cover during this time of year, that’s even better. Another great factor that tips the scales in favor of furniture made from resin is that it is very easy to clean. Now it’s time to pull out your mild detergent and scrub brush. You want to have a clean surface when you are refinishing or the final project may not look overly great. There may be spots that have bubbled up a little and this is usually caused by rust so remove these bubbles and scrape away the rust build up.
